Hi Everyone — I have been holding out on the WMF cookware review, but I finally had a chance to use the items that I purchased. I also crafted a Father’s Day Brunch recipe that will make that special father in your life feel all warm, full and fuzzy on his special day.
Making the premixed cornbread was easy enough since I just followed the instructions that were listed on the back of the bag, however I substituted a few needed ingredients (ex: instead of using whole egg, I used liquid egg whites and I substituted whole milk with oat milk).
For the crab egg bites I used 2 tablespoons of lump crab meat and 1/4 cup of liquid egg whites (enough for one serving per ramekin).
As most may know, ghee is my go to, so I added a half teaspoon of ghee to each serving of crab egg bite to provide richness and flavor.
Place the corn bread and the crab egg bite mixture in the oven on “bake” at a temperature of 375.
The corn bread may take 25-30 minutes and the crab egg bites take 20-30 minutes, depending on your desired firmness of your egg bites.
Once the corn bread and the crab egg bites are ready, you can serve with the beverage of your choice, but preferably coffee or hot tea since it is for brunch.
